RPZ at the Namibia Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Mukopano 2026
RPZ was part of the inaugural Namibia Corporate Social Investment (CSI) Mukopano 2026, held on 3 September 2026 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort under the theme "CSI that Changes Lives."
An initiative of MTC Namibia, Mukopano brought together corporates, NGOs, government representatives, funders and development partners for the first time on this scale, with the ambition of creating a bigger collective impact, raising awareness of Namibia's most pressing needs, and aligning corporate social investment with national priorities.
The forum also set out to showcase the impact already being made, encourage stronger partnerships among stakeholders, build a central database for the Namibian CSI community, and ultimately help shape policy and a national CSI framework for Namibia.
For RPZ, this was a valuable opportunity to connect. Our delegation engaged in networking sessions and discussions with corporates, NGOs and government representatives to better understand the current CSI landscape in Namibia and to identify synergies with our own social investment priorities. We leave Mukopano with a clearer view of where our efforts can align with broader national goals, and with new relationships that we believe will shape more coordinated, effective giving across the sector.
Having been in operation for over 50 years, and investing into Rosh Pinah and the country at large through CSR programmes spanning education, infrastructural development, health enhancement, environmental protection and overall social well-being, we were excited to be part of this forum to help tackle the needs on the ground for the betterment of Namibia.
RPZ is keen to remain part of this initiative as it grows, and we believe sustainable social change cannot be achieved by any single organisation, but through partnership and collaboration, partnership being one of RPZ's core values. We look forward to contributing to a future where Namibia's CSI community works from a shared database, a common framework, and a shared sense of direction.
