In a significant step toward strengthening workplace health and wellness, Rosh Pinah Zinc successfully trained 45 wellness champions last week. These champions will serve as representatives for their respective workshops, ensuring that health-related issues are addressed across the site.
The initiative brought together employees from all workshops around the mine, with participation extending to various contractors operating on-site. By including a wide range of representatives, the program aims to create a unified approach to wellness that reaches every corner of the operation.
The newly trained champions are expected to act as advocates for healthy practices, raise awareness about wellness programs, and provide peer-to-peer support. Their role will be vital in promoting a culture of safety, health, and well-being among the workforce.
Contractors represented were: Tren Tyre, EBE, NC, CCM, Onalufipa, ATMEI, Raylec, Access Lab, Knewmayer.
