RPZ participates in presidential visit to China

Rosh Pinah Zinc (RPZ) participated in the Namibian business delegation accompanying Her Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia, on her State Visit to the People's Republic of China from 6–10 July 2026.
The delegation brought together Cabinet Ministers, senior government officials, State-Owned Enterprise leaders and private sector representatives, coordinated by the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) and the Namibian Embassy in China. The mission took delegates through Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Shanghai and Beijing for high-level business forums, sector engagements and investment discussions.
Mining was a key focus of the visit, with RPZ contributing to the Namibia–Shanghai Business Forum's panel on Sustainable Mining, Energy and Industrialisation.
RPZ shared an update on the progress of RP2.0, which is now over 95% complete and will double the processing throughput from 700ktpa to 1.4Mtpa and extend the mine life.
